Writing Retreat
Hi all. Over the next few months I have the good fortune to be able to write from a beautiful and remote location on a Croatian Island. Given the paucity of events surrounding Steorn, I'm not sure it will make any real difference to the frequency (ie low frequency) of my posts. I will of course still keep up to date in whatever fashion I can and will certainly log into the SPDC as often as I can get access.
To all my friends in the SPDC and beyond, thanks for reading and I look forward to having something worth saying - someday -about this strange mystery.
Come on Sean... how difficult can changing the world be?

Paul, how things are going in the SPDC? I know you're limited by the NDA, but is there still a general consensus that an OU machine will be revealed by Steorn soon, or ever? Does the SPDC feel like it's going anywhere?
Or has the mood become cynical and stagnant? Cheers.
Hi H9...
It wouldn't be right to get into SPDC details here. The most I can do is give you my opinion on how I stand with respect to Steorn's claims. Reading back on my earlier posts you will see that I had classed myself as a believer. I took this stand against my best 'scientific' judgement. Again, the foundation of this belief was centred on the people involved and the concrete nature of their supposed results. They were so detailed and the mechanism for future revenue so dead without a working Orbo, that I could not see why they would set all this up unless they had discovered something important.
Trust me, these are smart people and while I could imagine one man pulling the wool over our eyes, it is difficult to see how he would do it with his own engineers.
You can read what you will into the fact that I no longer class myself as a 'believer' after so long in the SPDC.
That I am still willing to jump the fence at some stage is quite remarkable. Is it because I am so emotionally wed to my original conclusions that they are hard to shake or that those observations were sound in the first place and we need to be patient until all is revealled? I have no idea.
In the end, it costs us nothing to wait. I do so with an open and renewed scepticism and with the small hope that; just maybe...
Hi Paul.
Are you back yet? Anything to add to the Steorn saga? Is the SPDC quiet now?
Hi paul
it's been a while now. They've blocked people from viewing the forum (not the SPDC but the other one).
Is there anything interesting that may be going on? Or are you still a skeptic?
Cheers
